ApplePi-Baker v1.7.3 Update

ApplePi-Baker v1.7.3 Update
   4

ApplePi-Baker, the application I developed for Mac OS X user that like to work with the Raspberry Pi, is now available in version 1.7.3. This version (hopefully) addresses the “stuck after entering sudo password” problem.

Additionally, the option to make a backup of a read-only drive has been resolved as well and Retina mode can now be enabled. Hopefully this happens automatically, but in case it doesn’t, please execute the following from a Terminal window:

defaults write com.tweaking4all.PiBaker AppleMagnifiedMode -bool no

Thanks to Slash (Nuno) for his prompt help testing the new version.
As usual: Download it from the original article where you can also leave feedback.

Love the update. Thanks for adding retina support, much appreciated. Small niggle: All images in the app seems to be normal-resolution, but it is most obvious in the top left one (the new logo) that it is no-Retina resolution images as it is so big. Also it does not seem to fit perfectly. The top part of that logo is cut off.

Thanks again for the update. Let me know if you want some help with testing, I am a seasoned tester.

      Hi Daniel,

yeah, unfortunately the Retina support is a little “trick” that seems to work with most non-retina apps.
Unfortunately,… images are not included in this, as a HighDPI canvas is not available …
I hope Lazarus Pascal will support this soon. I’d hate to have to switch to Objective C or Swift …

I just uploaded 1.74, which is not a big update. It just waits a little bit longer for Sudo password confirmation than in 1.73.
Thanks for offering help testing, it is much appreciated and I will most certainly keep that in mind.
