Golden oldie, since I was tinkering with some virtual machines ...
Just posting it here for my own reference (probably will never need it again).

To enable auto login on Windows XP follow the following steps:

  1. Click Run from the Start Menu
  2. Enter: "control userpasswords2" (without the double quotes of course) and Click Ok.
  3. In the upcoming window select the user you want to auto login.
  4. Uncheck "Users must enter a user name and password" and Click Ok.
  5. A dialog will popup: Enter password for that user and you're good to go ...

The best way to help is of course by assisting others with their questions here in the forum, but you can also help us out in other ways:

- Do your shopping at Amazon, it will not cost you anything extra but may generate a small commission for us,
- send a cup of coffee through PayPal ($5, $10, $20, or custom amount),
- become a Patreon,
- donate BitCoin (BTC), or BitCoinCash (BCH).
