Hello Hans,
I’ve been testing ConnectMeNow4 on a Mac at work and wanted to check the license terms before continuing to use it.
This isn’t for an official company-wide deployment or anything like that. I’m just using it to connect to a few shared folders on our internal network.
Connecting to one share works fine normally, but I ran into an issue with macOS when trying to connect to two or more shares on the same server/IP address. I tried ConnectMeNow4 and it worked without any problems, so I’d like to keep using it for this purpose.
I saw that ConnectMeNow4 is free, and I also found a few forum posts mentioning corporate users, but I couldn’t find anything that clearly says whether using it in a workplace or on a company-owned Mac is allowed.
Would it be okay to use ConnectMeNow4 free of charge in this situation, just for connecting to internal company network shares?
I’m not planning to redistribute, modify, resell, or bundle the app with anything. I just wanted to make sure I’m not overlooking any license restrictions before using it at work.
Thanks for your help, and also for making ConnectMeNow4.
Best regards,
mgkim
