Hi guys from dev

Not sure what is going on, however i like the software very much, that is way i am taking the time to comment.

For some reason the new UI settigs is complicated, and some of the info only helps developers to understand the option it refers to it.

Here is the list of issues, for me:

 - About form on top of all other windows.

- Takes time just to add files from HD to the list. Even if all options in "File Handling" is unchecked

- Unble to select what browser to open when clicking on links. e.g. "https://www.tweaking4all.com" in the about page.

- Info in some options are not clear for common users.

All the best and thanks.

Hi @albedo,

I'm not sure what you mean with the old version. The current version has been around for a very long time already.
Which versions are you comparing?

Things that have an impact on adding files, just to name a few:

- ffprobe enabled, which analyzes the audio and video (only needed if you need resolution etc in the filename - temporary disable this to see the difference)
- autodetect enabled, this will do quite a few attempts to try and find the proper show and episode automatically, which will take extra time (disable it to test)
- files from a network share, not so stable network connections (WiFi are the worst!) will make file handling on a network share much slower (handled by the OS)

Without version numbers, operating system info, etc, it will remain a guess.

As for the other issue:

- About form on top of all other windows.

I'm not sure what you mean with this. Most people do not even open the About window, and clicking "X" or "OK" closes it.

- Unable to select what browser to open when clicking on links. e.g. "https://www.tweaking4all.com" in the about page.

This would be your default browser, as with any other application?

- Info in some options are not clear for common users.

Do you have examples, I'd be helpful so I can improve on this 😊
