I have a 9" USB monitor, pretty old, that I have sitting next to my Mac, just to see messages flying by. It's really old (2009 I think), and for the longest time I was under the impression that there were no drivers for macOS beyond 10.13 available.
I was wrong. Seems the chip in the monitor is a DisplayLink product, and they do have drivers available.

You can download it here. Just for archiving purposes, I've attached the version I'm using with macOS 10.15.4, and it works great.
