VMWare announced the new release of VMWare Fusion, a commercial application used by MacOS users to run Virtual Machines (eg. Windows, Linux, MacOS).
The licensing model has now been change and there is now a free "Player" edition for home use. See also this announcement at MacRumors.
The only thing you need to do is setting up an account (free) at VMware and then you can download VMWare Fusion Player 12 for free.
