i just launched renamemytvseries and added 13 episodes of the punisher and i got what you see in the image. i tried twice with the same results, so i rebooted tried one more time and got the same thing. i then tried with just one episode and it worked perfectly. just downloaded the latest version the day before yesterday. for this issue i honestly do not know where to begin to look to fix it. any help and or suggestion on this would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Hi MrGrimm,
I've copied your repsonse post from the Linux Mint forum here:
o.k. after some further checks looks like my copy got corrupted, cause i downloaded a fresh copy of renamemytvseries and it worked perfectly. now when i went to create a new launcher in my shortcuts folder which is on the desktop the launcher would not work, so i attempted to create a launcher in the folder with the episodes and was told i can't would i like to create one on the desktop instead. i clicked yes, it was created, i dragged it to the shortcuts folder and it works perfectly. so basically i have two issues here. 1 why wouldn't the first launcher work, and 2 why couldn't i create a launcher in a folder i have full access to. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks
Since I cannot read the message in the popup (just like you), I wouldn't have a clue what may be going wrong.
Do you get the same problem if you start RMTV by directly double clicking the executable (versus a launcher)?

Could you set your Linux Mint theme to a default light theme and try these steps again?
It could be that the popup dialog ignores your theme, and this way we would be able to see what the error message is?

i'm not changing the theme cause it's not the problem. if that had been the problem it would of been happening all along, and on individual episodes i would also be getting that. blank dialog box which is not a error message box. it's the normal box that pops up after you click rename on the main program window. as for when it happened yes it was both the shortcut and directly in the folder. now that said if you had read my second post on the mint forum instead of just copying it here you would of realized i solved my issue with renamemytvseries. and in the process ran across a couple others. now once i recreate that thread on mint's forum if you'd like to help solve the two issues i'd appreciate it. thanks

The only intend with changing the theme was to hopefully read the message of the popup - but you already clarified that it's the usual message and not an error message.
I'm not an expert when it comes to Linux, so I'm not sure how helpful I can be without being able to mimic what you're doing.
From your text and screenshot it's not very clear what is happening (or what is not happening), I thought you were referring to the message box.

i was referring to the message box, but you should of know that that's the normal box that pops up once you click rename. i'm assuning it's there to get peeps to take one last look at the files they added to rmts to make sure they have everything correct before committing changes?

Yep that's what it is for. You can disable it in Preferences, under "Renaming Files", you can uncheck the "Display warning before renaming files" option.
