VMWare Fusion - Linux KDE desktop not showing fonts ...

So I ran into this little issue with my VMWare Fusion setup (which free these days - look in the lower right corner of this link to register!);

When running Manjaro KDE, I found the fonts on my desktop missing. Some of the settings, menu's and widgets had the same problem.
This seems a "known" issue with Fusion and KDE.

The Fix: disable 3D acceleration on your virtual machine.
