When trying to use the "su" (substitute user identity - or: run a shell as superuser/root), you might find that your password will not work.
With the following statement however, you can open a Bash shell as superuser/admin with elevated rights:

sudo -s

It wil prompt for your password and open a Bash shell session.

- Do your shopping at Amazon, it will not cost you anything extra but may generate a small commission for us,
- send a cup of coffee through PayPal ($5, $10, $20, or custom amount),
- become a Patreon,
