Maybe for now just clean up the install / permission readme. In regards to the permissions Linux is Linux regardless of the base OS so the permissions will be the same across the board. Remove all the stuff about dropping RMTV into the file system and redo the permission to be run from any location. For example until I just changed my system name and username when I reinstalled the OS all I had to do was link a icon in my shortcuts folder to RMTV  in /mnt/Downloads/Monitors - Sound - Video/RMTV/ and it just worked. Need to just be able to open a Konsole / Terminal in the folder and enter a command to make it executable right there, then link the .desktop file to where one wants it.

I truly love Linux cause in the time it takes to install Windows and tweak it to my liking I can't install my Linux OS, tweak it to my liking, and get all the programs I want installed with time to spare. The thing I don't like is how a lot of distros still push so hard for use of the command line this day and age. If the various Linux OS and distro creators had worked together instead of against eachother over the past 25 years it's a safe bet that neither Windows or OS-X would even still exist, and we would be dealing with a completely open, free, and untouchable internet.
