Hello!

Fisrt of all, great tool!

I've just used it on Intel MBP with Mac OS 12 Monterey  and works great.

However when I tried it on a newer MBP with the latest 15.1 OS Sequoia, it does not recognize the cd card as a source.

You can see the oputput from diskutils. The sd card is 64GB listed as /dev/disk8.

All permissions are set as documented in the startup window.

Cheers!

Lyubo

Just found out other image applications like "RaspberryPi Imager" and "BalenaEtcher" are behaving the same. So it must be something from the OS.

Updated it to 15.2 and after the restart it works.

Sincere apologies for the super late response.
Family issues prevented me from making time for my website. My mom unfortunately passed away so I had my hands full 😞

And thank you for the compliments 😊

Sounds like this was a macOS issue then. Glad to hear it is resolved, and ... thank you for sharing! Others may benefit from this as well. 👍

I am currently having this same issue, not seeing a way to resolve this. SD card is not listed under the select a disk function. Running Tahoe 26.2

I've used APB with USB devices under Tahoe 26.2 which worked just fine.
I'll have to go find a SD card and SD card adapter to test this under Tahoe 26.2 - it's been a very long time that I used SD cards 😉

Can you test alternative SD cards or other SD card readers?

In Advanced View, does it list the device?

I did use two different SD cards and was able to interact with them in finder. I used the build in sd card reader on the Macbook Pro. I dont see the advance function row at the bottom of the app. I ended up using balenaEtcher which I found that night and it worked for my purposes. But I hear that there are concerns with that one and would like to use APB in the future. Thanks for the response!

Good to hear you got things working for your purposes, even though its not with APB 😉

I'm wondering though why you're not seeing the advanced function row.
Could you post a screenshot?

Should be here ...

Well that's a new one for me ... running Tahoe 26.1 myself, so I'll try to update today or tomorrow (Christmas = busy with family stuff)

Couldn't resist, so while prepare some family thing, I had my M1 Mac do an update to 26.2 ...
Still seeing the buttons though ...

One thing I did note: you're running the older 2.2.3 - van you try the beta (2.3.0)?
