Since I couldn't find a clear answer anywhere, I figured I post it here, maybe another DS-90U monitor owner has a use for it.
I have a 9" USB monitor, pretty old, that I have sitting next to my Mac, just to see messages flying by. It's really old (2009 I think), and for the longest time I was under the impression that there were no drivers for macOS beyond 10.13 available.
I was wrong. Seems the chip in the monitor is a DisplayLink product, and they do have drivers available.
You can choose the kernel extension version or ... this newer beta version which doesn't require anything special and will not be removed after an OS update.
You can download it here. Just for archiving purposes, I've attached the version I'm using with macOS 10.15.4, and it works great.
IcoMoon Ultimate place to create your own icon fonts, with existing icons and/or your own designs, for your computer or webpage, ... for free.
HandBrake Great tool for ripping DVD's and converting video.
WinRAR My favorite file compression/decompression tool. Fast, efficient, and support quite a lot of formats. Unfortunately ... NOT free.
Hex Fiend Free Open Source Hex viewer and editor for MacOS X.
NAPS2 - Not Another PDF Scanner 2 Wonderful simple and reliable scanner application for Windows users. This still depends on your Windows having the proper scanner drivers installed, but it makes scanning to images or PDFs a lot easier.
