Funny thing with cPanel is that in a default setup, it actually allows you to connect over an insecure connection ... ie. http://yourserver.com just freakin' works ... so how you force all WHM, webmail and cPanel connections over an SSL connection?

Go to WHM and type in the upper left corner "tweak".
Your list of options should now have "Tweak Settings" available, click it.

On the right now find the section called "Redirection" an set "Always redirect to SSL" to ON.
Scroll all the way to the bottom and click "Save".

Every attempt to login without http will now redirect to the proper hostname with https.
