New to Arduino, quick easy question

I have just purchased a 8x8 256 led display. On the back it has 3 +5v wires, 3 gnd wires, 1 data in and 1 data out. Do I need to bother connecting the data out wire?

For others: Data Out does not need to be connected unless you loop to another LED display.
