For those who side load Android apps on their Quest (1, 2, Pro, 3, etc.): You'll notice these apps always start portrait mode and look rather limited - like on your phone.
If you start the application through "DeX MAX" however, they will open landscape mode (like on a tablet). Don't be fooled by the filename (Tweak for Samsung) - it works!
@davidwilly thanks for the heads-up ... it is always good to have the official one, but how do I determine which one is really the original one?
The link you provided, cxfileexplorer.org, is terribly outdated and show a old version (v2.1.1.1) where as the earlier posted link, cxfileexplorer.com, shows the most recent version (2.3.2) which matches the version on Google Play. So it looks like your link is not the official one. (for safety reason I've removed the .org link)
