Hi there! So, when I'm not developing software I'm messing around with audio. This got me wanting to start this topic. What got you into mp3 files? For me it started years ago when a friend of mine jacked a microphone into a computer. Ah the good old days! So, what are your stories?
It’s always fun to hear how people got into audio and MP3s. For me, it started back in the late '90s when I first discovered Napster. I was amazed at how easy it was to find and share music online.
A friend showed me how to rip CDs and convert them to MP3s, and I was hooked. I even started creating my own mixtapes and sharing them with friends. The quality wasn't always the best, but it was such a revolutionary way to experience music.
These days, I’m more into high-quality audio formats, but I still have a soft spot for MP3s and the nostalgia they bring. What kind of audio projects are you working on now?
