To upgrade from Windows 10 (any version) to Windows 11, on a computer with an unsupported CPU, follow these steps;
Download the Windows 11 ISO file from this Microsoft web page (the method with the Windows 11 install assistant won't work)
Open regedit and go to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup\MoSetup
Now add a new key, by right-clicking in the right pane and pick New -> DWORD (32-bit) Value and call it “AllowUpgradesWithUnsupportedTPMOrCPU” (without the quotes of course). Set the new value to "1" (without the quotes).
Close regedit.
Now right-click the ISO file and select Open with -> Windows Explorer to mount the ISO as a virtual disk. After that double-click the setup.exe file to begin installation.
WinRAR My favorite file compression/decompression tool. Fast, efficient, and support quite a lot of formats. Unfortunately ... NOT free.
VueScan Ultimate scanning tool for Windows, Linux, and macOS, supporting pretty much any scanner, even those no longer supported by your OS. (no scanner drivers needed!)
Security Awareness Tip of the Day Great resource to make you online-life more secure - definitely some great tips here and a recommended read.
ViMediaManager ViMediaManager is a media manager for Mac OS X, allowing you to gather, store, and manage information, extra art, trailers and television tunes for your movie, television etc for use with for example XBMC.
HandBrake Great tool for ripping DVD's and converting video.
MalwareBytes Probably one of the best tools to prevent and remove all kinds of malware and viruses on Windows and MacOS X.
