Those of you, who have a Foscam 98xx series IP camera, will have noticed that you cannot access the video feed from Google Chrome, because the plugin doesn't work.

Windows users can users can use Internet Explorer and MacOSX users can user Safari, which both work.

If you'd like to use Chrome anyway, then you'd need to enable the NPAPI. Note however that Google is dropping support for this (hene why it is disabled by default) and that future versions of Chrome might no longer have this option.

To enable NPAPI:

1. In your URL bar, enter

chrome://flags/#enable-npapi

2. Click the "Enable" link for the Enable the NPAPI option.

3. Click the Relaunch button at the bottom of the configuration page.

You might still need to install the plugin (use the link on the Foscam login page), but at least for now you can see the video feed.

p.s. on my first attempt the plugin crashed, simply click "reload".
