Working on a little project, I needed to increase the font size of the font of hint windows (you know; those yellow boxes with hints).
This is how I managed to get it to work:
...
Type
TMyHintWindow = class(THintWindow)
constructor Create(AOwner: TComponent); override;
end;
...
constructor TMyHintWindow.Create(AOwner: TComponent);
begin
inherited Create(AOwner);
with Canvas.Font do
begin
Name := 'Arial';
Size := Size + 3;
end;
end;
...
procedure TFrom1.FormCreate(Sender: TObject);
begin
...
HintWindowClass := TMyHintWindow;
Application.ShowHint := False;
Application.ShowHint := True;
...

I'm not sure what you mean with "altering" that portion ...
Since a link has been placed in your post, I for now assume this is spam.
