[Solved] Arduino - Soft Reset in code (does not reset peripherals and registers)

While looking for a way to reset an Arduino in software, I found this little procedure.
Keep in mind: it does not seem to reset peripherals and registers!
void (softReset) {
asm volatile (" jmp 0");
}
Calling it is easy:
softReset();
