For those unfamiliar with it, Jahshaka is a free video editing program for Mac and Windows.
I did test the program on my Mac but didn't like the User Interface so I wanted to remove it. Well, Jahshaka does not have an uninstaller and didn't install the way Mac applications usually install. So how to remove this ....?
After a lot of searching I found the super poorly documented uninstall option, which can be run from the Terminal:
sudo /usr/bin/jahshaka-uninstall
Press enter, enter your admin password and output like below will show indicating that Jahshaka has been removed from your system:
Removing...
/Library/Preferences/com.jahshaka.jahshaka.plist
/usr/bin/jahshaka.app/
/usr/bin/jahuserinstall
/usr/bin/jahshaka-uninstall
/usr/share/jahshaka/
/usr/lib/libopengpulib.dylib
/usr/lib/libopengpulib.1.dylib
/usr/lib/libopengpulib.1.0.dylib
/usr/lib/libopengpulib.1.0.0.dylib
/usr/lib/libopenassetlib.a
/usr/lib/libopencorelib.a
/usr/lib/libopenimagelib.a
/usr/lib/libopennetworklib.a
/usr/lib/libopenobjectlib.a
/usr/lib/libmediaobject.a
/usr/lib/libformats.a
/Applications/jahshaka.app
/usr/olib/
Done.
