When working with shapes, a rectangle for example, the "active" or "selected" shape will have a small selection border around it.
Practical to identify which shape you're working with, but annoying when you're working with styles for example
The easiest way to toggle this On/Off id by pressing SHIFT + CTRL + H (or in the menu's: View - Show - Target Path).
