Adobe Updater is a tool for Adobe products that frequently checks for updates.
For whatever reason you'd like to remove this, this is how it's done from Terminal (this only prevents it from running periodically!).

Open Terminal and execute:

cd ~/Library/LaunchAgents/
launchctl remove 'basename com.adobe.ARM.* .plist'
rm com.adobe.ARM.*
