SFMono is a very nice mono spaced font (like Courier) used in Terminal and XCode. However, other applications do not seem to be able to access this font.
With this little trick you can make them enabled for all applications;
1) in Finder go to:
/Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app/Contents/Resources/Fonts/
2) Select all files (the start with SFMono-...otf).
3) Right click the selected files and select "Open with" - "Font Book".
4) Fontbook will open now with the font. Click the "Install Font" button (lower right corner).
5) A new window will open called "Font Validation" - check "Select All Fonts" and click "Install Checked".
You can now exit FontBook - the SFMono font is now installed and available for all applications.
