With El Capitan you can change the login screen as well ... as with previous MacOS X version.
This is how it's done:
1. Create a wallpaper image for you login screen.
This should be a PNG image and of course using a large resolution image would be best. Try to match at least the maximum resolution of your screen!
2. Rename the file to “com.apple.desktop.admin.png”
3. Copy the image file /Library/Caches/ overwriting the existing image.
It's not a bad idea to make a backup of the original of course, just rename it to something like "com.apple.desktop.admin.original.png”.
You'll see the new picture, next time you login ...
