Haha yes I agree on to 70-200 being "neglected" like that - that really hurts.
As for the 50mm, it's somewhere in my pile of stuff and I haven't used it in the past year ... flimsy stuff indeed. 
I wish I could find something like to 70-200, but then more in the say 20-135 range, but with the same quality. Seems hard to find. 
It's indeed a big heavy lens ... adding the 2x adapter makes it really great for a LOT of great quality zoom.
haha yea you know what they say about guys with big lenses, ...compensation hehehe joke

Well, I have the big lens ... just not the big gun, and not the huge truck ... I'll work on that 
Well as long as you got the big lens it's all good, never mind the rest ! what do you shoot ? and do you shoot often ?
Haha there is plenty I'd like to shoot,... but since it seems illegal at some points when shooting people, and since I can't stand hurting animals, I'd rather just use my camera to shoot ...
