    Seems that a lot of folks have issue getting their free Windows 10 upgrade, since the Windows 10 checker complains about the VMWare display driver not being Windows 10 compatible … so we wait forever.

    To upgrade your Windows 7/8/8.1 to Windows 10: Simply download te Microsoft Windows 10 ISO for 32 or 64 bit, and mount the ISO in VMWare as a DVD drive. Autorun will start the upgrade, which takes a while but works just fine. Windows WILL upgrade and activate.

    To get the display driver correct again: Install the VMWare Tools, choose the “Repair” option if you already had it installed, and you;re good to go …
