<p>Not a bad suggestion, although you're the first one to mention this, so I do not think there are many users running into this particular scenario - I could be very wrong though.</p>
<p>I'll add this to my "things to consider" list ... <br />However, there is very little space left in the Preferences window, which is already loaded with options that can confuse some of the users.<br />So I'll consider it for a future release if I can find space for it.</p>]]></content:encoded>

<p>When adding directories, there are times where sub-directories contains non-episode video and/or audio material and at times these directories contains huge amounts of files which are added to the Selected Files pane.  The ability to enable or disable sub-directory recursion would prevent the previously described situation.     Slower workarounds:</p>
<ul>
<li>manually remove via the GUI (can be painful)</li>
<li>use OS file browser to move the shows to it's own directory or the extra directories to a parent directory.</li>
<li>Select only episodes/directories that contains only episode files and drag and drop into GUI</li>
</ul>
