It'll become more advanced with time, since Windows installers are so different to one another that they require a lot of flexibility, but I think that's how they're all done currently. I haven't built many manifests, though.

There is no 64 bit version. All Windows versions, including Windows 11, support WOW32 and run 32 bit applications just fine.
No worries there. Besides that 64 bit does not really add any extra value to a tiny program like this.

By the time this may become an issue, I will release a 64 bit version.
For now I'd rather not exclude the few loyal 32 bit users, unless there is a legit good reason for it. 😊

Currently, the packages appear to be distributed as archives. Tar for Linux and macOS, and Zip for Windows. I'd like to be able to install MiniWOL via Windows's new native package manager, WinGet. However, it doesn't (yet) support archives, and probably won't for some time. I can use something like gomsix fairly easily, but that would probably create more issues for you if the unofficially packaged version has issues that the official version doesn't.

An EXE, MSI, APPX or MSIX package that just extracts the files into ProgramFiles would fix this, and make me a lot more easily able to recommend this to others, since they'd be more confident downloading something from somewhere that they know is trustworthy. Also, it just means less things to manually update for me, when using Windows.

Thanks!
