There are 3 places where this is set:

1) under Preferences - Mount Related Options: "Always Ping before mount". This would make CMN ping always.

2) The "Default New Share Template" setting.

3) Per individual (created) share

Please make sure it's unchecked in all 3 locations - just to make sure.

If this still triggers a ping, then I'll have to go dig into the code and fix this - so please let me know 😉

Ou servers are setup to not allow PINGs for security reasons. I unchecked the box 'Ping before mount' in the Advanced Options but mounting keeps failing with the message 'Mount attempt aborted - Server ping failed' The servers will mount through the Finder.
