If you mean the file dialog when you try to open a document in an application then: No 😞
I haven't see anything like that and I doubt Apple would allow this.

It just replaces Finder. It does offer quite a few handy features though.

@hans does use of forklift also replace the default file chooser also?

Finder is a little limited when it comes to that.
What you could do is add a folder found in a share to the favorites section on the left side in the sidebar - you may have to enable the sidebar: menu "View" - "Show Sidebar". Unfortunately it doesn't seem to like it when you want to put your share there.

Alternatives like ForkLift, which is my favorite and daily driver, is affordable and NO a subscription is needed, show the shares right away on the left side.
PathFinder, too expensive for my taste (and requires a subscription) does this as well.

Both can be tested for free ... at least you'd see if this is what you have in mind.

I am new to mac and CMN, but have the mounts working good, but I was wondering how to make it so that if I open finder app, or use standard file picking dialog, I can more easily go to a mounted folder. I do see the server in the side-bar, and can get to shares that way, but I was wondering if there was a more straight forward way, like having them show up in the top dropdown, etc.
